Is the color difference of badminton PVC floor a quality problem?
Badminton PVC flooring sometimes has color differences. Causes of this problem include external factors such as changes in room temperature and humidity, as well as internal factors such as small differences in raw materials and molding processes. Among them, internal factors are the main reasons for color difference, as follows:
1. Raw materials
The production of PVC floor mainly uses raw materials such as polyvinyl chloride and copolymer resin, and adds fillers, plasticizers, stabilizers, colorants and other auxiliary materials for hot pressing molding. Different batches of polyvinyl chloride and copolymer resin will have certain differences in color and light transmittance. Therefore, if different batches of raw materials are used, it will affect the color of the molded PVC floor.
2. Color film layer printing
The printed fabric of the color film layer is crucial to the surface look and feel of the product, and the printed fabric is affected by slight differences in the printing process and printing ink, making it difficult to achieve complete consistency.
3. Molding process
The different temperatures and extrusion forces that PVC floors endure during molding will also lead to color differences.
4. Environmental factors

In addition to the above-mentioned internal factors, even if the material is molded under absolutely standard process conditions, when the ambient temperature and humidity change, the molded product will have color differences due to different visual angles.
So, is the color difference of PVC flooring a quality problem? How to solve the color difference problem?
The reasons for color difference in PVC floors are very complex and cannot be completely avoided. Slight color difference is not a quality problem. However, if there are small, obvious and non-patterned differences in color shades on the same floor, it is a quality problem.
During paving, if it is found that there is a color difference in the PVC floor that is not a quality problem, in order to avoid affecting the overall paving effect, pre-paving must be carried out! Specific solutions include:
1. Place a narrow and long floor of another color between the two floors with different colors to create contrasting color partitions;
2. During the paving process, make the transition according to the slight color difference of the floor, and pave the PVC floors with the smallest color difference together to minimize the visual effect difference caused by the color difference; 3. Lay the floors with color difference on beds, tables, etc. underneath large objects.
