Have a 6 year old and his cousin who live riding these things and they mastered it pretty quick. I got it for them for Christmas and I purchased two. One of them is not working for the speed settings. It will only go on the first two settings. When reaching out to customer support from hyper gogo they denied assistance because it was purchased from Amazon. If the customer support was good I would give this a 5 star rating because the kids love it. I will update my review if I am able to get better customer support
Update: I got support through supplier on Amazon rather than the website that sells these. Amazon support was good compared to the website directly which was horrible. If you have this issue they told me to turn it on and short press the speed button while holding the brake 5 times in order to fix this if you have the same problem. Kids love riding these around and they mastered it pretty quick and actually learned how to ride these before riding a bike without training wheels. Now they can ride normal bikes without training wheels.
