Steps to Set Up A Campfire Tripod for Beginners!

1. Arrange the top

A campfire tripod is a simple piece of equipment, but especially when trying to put it on the fire for the first time, it can be awkward with legs moving in all directions.

One way to make the legs easier to fold is to first align the eyes at the top in a specific way. Find the leg with the largest eye. Hold the leg with your left hand and turn it so it looks like a "P" in front of you. Adjust the other two legs with your right hand so that the eyes are facing the same direction. These two legs should be flat together. Roll them with your right hand until the eyes are pointing toward you.

2. Do it before lighting the fire
